Sarah's versatile talents and passion for style are reflected in her hair styling breadth (matching face and personality to a unique hairstyle and make-up look, including brow shaping.) She specializes in multi-dimensional color, using Gentle Davines Haircolor that nourishes the hair rather than damage it.
An expertise in run-way and special event make-up Sarah is perfect for on-site wedding, holiday or special event bookings. She works with all types and lengths of hair, and includes men's hairstyling in her repertoire.
She enjoys hairdressing in all aspects and loves teaching clients how to recreate their salon look at home, be it hairstyle or make up (comprehensive lessons also available on site or in your home/hotel).
Sarah Kahn graduated with special recognition from Gene Juarez Academy in 2003, then worked for five years for Gary Manuel Salon, where she was selected two years in a row for hair and fashion study on salon-sponsored travel to Milan, Italy. For the last two years she has worked at Haven Salon in Ballard as a lead stylist. Sarah's extensive experience both as a stylist and entrepreneur naturally led her to launch Sarah Kahn Hair in lower Queen Anne at the historic Marqueen Hotel.
She travels to San Francisco and NYC to keep on top of fashion trends. Sarah resides on diverse Capitol Hill where she enjoys fashion in all forms, shopping, reading, cooking, and traveling just to name a few.

What inspired you to become a stylist?
I love
people and making people pretty. I wanted a career where I can be
artistic and make people feel good.

What color techniques are you
into right now?
I am really into balayage that can look edgy, subtle and low
maintenance all at the same time.I also love doing a color gloss over
colors to make them last longer and feel healthier. I use Davines Color
which uses hydrolized milk proteins to give you vibrant color and
extraordinarily shiny hair!
